The Lady Blues shot 50% from the floor and had five players in double figures as they throttled the Tigers Saturday at Lee Arena. Washburn broke the game open late in the first half with a 10-0 run. Ebonie Williams led the way with 13 points, all in the second half as she played just three minutes in the first half because of two quick fouls. Cassie Lombardino and Stevi Schultz added 12 points apiece and Tiara George and Laura Kinderknecht 11 each for Washburn. Hays shot just 35% from the floor. Kate Lehman led all scorers with 17 points while Katelyn Edwards added a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds for Hays. The Lady Blues are now 13-1 in the MIAA. Both Washburn teams play Wednesday as they host Central Missouri.
