THe start of the game was delayed 45 minutes but that didn't seem to bother the Cats, who had control from the outset Thursday afternoon in Oklahoma City. Denis Clemente led the way with 17 points as the Cats built a double digit lead and kept it throughout the second half. Jacob Pullen and Curtis Kelly each scored 15 and Dominique Sutton added 12. The Cats outrebounded the Mean Green 41-29. Tristan Thompson scored 30 for North Texas to lead all scorers. The Cats, 27-7, will meet BYU on Saturday at the Ford Center. The Cougars had to go double overtime to beat Florida, which caused the delay in K-State's game getting started.
